Writer’s Salon

The goal of our inaugural Writer’s Salon was to show the Merit of the Emerging Writers and Actors of New York, who rarely get the opportunity to perform original work. April 22nd, 2026, the inaugural Writer’s Salon hit the stage at The Rat in Dumbo. Featuring directors Tom Costello, Felicia Lobo, and Sam Besca, writers Davis Alianiello, Electra Artemis, and spearheaded by Sam Besca and Lena Pepe, the Salon showed work in three different stages of development. The first play was a reading, lightly staged but with scripts in hand. The second was a newly written script with a fast but efficient rehearsal process. And the last, a well-worked and revised piece, demonstrating the final life form of a pre-lights-up script ready to evolve.
